Tasting notes
This is an energetic and beautiful expression of Cabernet. Violets, lavender, and cassis mixed with dark chocolate, cherry, plum, and graphite. Plush and lively on that pallate.
Viticulture
This vineyard sits in the Coombsville AVA of Napa Valley. Planted in 2013, this vineyard is dry-farmed and organically farmed by Joe Harden. Only 2 acres are planted to Cabernet Sauvignon.
Vinification
The fruit was harvested at night. Natively in stainless steel tanks. After 23 days on skins, we gently pressed and aged in 65% New French Oak Barrels. 18 months élevage in the cellar before bottling. The 2021 will be known for structure and power.
