Tasting notes
A lovely ruby red color with aromas of blackberry jam and plum. Hints of cedar and vanilla complement the flavors of summer berries and black cherry on the palate. Pleasant round texture with supple tannins.
Vintage Notes
The season got off to a slightly later start, with a delayed bud break across the region. Weather impacts on bloom contributed
to a lighter crop for some varieties. Excellent quality fruit, with great freshness and vibrancy, and good flavors at lower sugar levels.

The fruit for our Maggio Family Vineyards wine is sourced entirely from our sustainably farmed, family-owned estate vineyards in Lodi,
CA. Lodi enjoys warm days and cool nights which allows the grapes to fully ripen while maintaining their natural acidity.
